Walking in Wansford and Skerne

Various footpaths criss-cross both parishes and all are easy, flat walking. The Rudston Roam, a 23-mile walk along the East Riding Heritage Way, also passes through both Skerne and Wansford.

There is a circular walk taking in Nafferton, Wansford and Driffield and can be started at Wansford, with limited parking available on the B1249 next to Wansford bus shelter. For the route click here

With almost 1,000 miles (over 1500 km) of public rights of way in the East Riding this complex web of footpaths, bridleways and byways is available for public enjoyment.
